Effective October 2012, the Ensure Clinical Strength products will be renamed Ensure Complete. This change is based on consumer and health care professional feedback to help improve ongoing patient compliance. In addition to the name and label change, the Ensure Complete products have been reformulated to lower the potassium levels in all three products.
In addition, the Ensure Enlive portfolio of products will be renamed Ensure Clear. This name change will help clarify the main feature of this product: clear liquid nutrition.
These products will be phased out the beginning of October 2012. There are NO changes to the current flavors, list numbers, UPCs, fluid ounces, or quantity per case. The new Ensure Complete products will be automatically substituted for the Ensure Clinical Strength products when they are no longer available
